If you would like to learn how to Move2Improve without adding extra stress to your body, then I would love to help you. With a background in Physiotherapy, I have supported individuals in how to remain mobile and maintain / improve their functional capacity for the last 30 years.

Movement is medicine, especially when it is mindful. I would love to help you learn how to move mindfully, with a calmer nervous system and improved feeling of overall wellbeing.

Mindful Movement classes


The principles of mindful movement are the same as any other mindfulness practice. We aim to bring our full attention to the present moment to experience the here and now.

These classes are suitable for all levels and based on a style of Yoga called Synergy Yoga. Synergy Yoga has been created by Physiotherapists Simon Borg Olivier and Bianca Machliss and is "based on a deep understanding of anatomy and Physiology, modern medical science and traditional Hatha Yoga." A beautiful practice which targets most joints of the body, helps increases circulation and promotes a feeling of calm. A moving meditation.

Our class times are as follows:

Tuesday Evening at 6:00pm for 60 minutes

Cost:

Casual Visit = $25.00

Class Pass x 5 = $110 (8 weeks to use)

Class Pass x 10 = $200 (14 weeks to use)

Maximum Participants: 6

Please note class passes can only be used for the Mindful Movement classes.

Bookings Essential.

One on One sessions are also available if a group class is not suitable.
This can also be for a generalised Movement assessment to assist in identifying any areas that may benefit from some Movement practices.

Sessions are generally available on a Friday.

Restorative Yoga - Renew You



Once a month, I am hosting a 90 minute Restorative Yoga Class. This is a wonderful way to reset your Nervous System and slow down, it is an opportunity to really tune into your body.

What is Restorative Yoga?

"Restorative Yoga is a passive form of asana sequencing
that includes floor based postures and props to support the body.
It is considered an ideal balance to a hectic and stressful modern lifestyle."

Our next Restorative class is on Tuesday 16th September at 6:15 pm for 90 minutes. Classes are limited to 6 participants so I can assist with individual adjustments with props and positioning to ensure there are no biomechanical stresses resulting in the ability to truly feel and settle into the Asana.
