Do you have stiff feet, ankles or hips? Have you had niggling back pain that doesn't seem to clear up with conventional treatment?

Do you want to learn about your own movement patterns and learn how to listen to the messages that your body maybe trying to tell you?

Then welcome to Movement & Core Connections for Blokes.

This is an opportunity for Blokes to join together and become experts in their own Movement Patterns and the associations of those patterns with relation to niggling aches & pains, joint stiffness, Pelvic Floor and a whole lot more. We will be exploring the impact restricted patterns of movement can have elsewhere in our Body. It is a fascinating journey which I can't wait to share with you. We will look at:

Our feet/ankles: how restrictive Feet can impact our walking, balance and can even impact joints higher up in our Kinetic chain (knees, hips etc). This is gold if you are in work boots all day.

Our Hips: tightness and loss of range in our hips can be a factor in the presence of Back Pain and general reduction in our mobility. Loss of range and strength can affect our ability to get down and up off the floor.

Our Breath Pattern: this is HUGE in the management of anxiety, pain management and a whole lot more. It's a fascinating topic which will hopefully provide you with the skills to tune into your Breath and breathe with your diaphragm. Please note, there is no breath holding or 'Wim Hoff' type breathing included in this program. It is all about the natural breath. Once we start over thinking our pattern and changing things, it can actually complicate matters. We were born knowing how to Breathe, we just got lost along the way somewhere.

We will be exploring our amazing Body as a whole and realising that Movement is not the same for everyone.

All five sessions are included in the cost of the course.

Session 4. Wednesday 24th September

Session 5. Wednesday 1st October

Please note: the ability to get down and up off the floor is required.

What you will need:

A Yoga Mat and Water Bottle. If you don't have a Yoga mat, I do have some spares which you are welcome to use. Bolsters, Blocks, Straps etc are all available for use in the studio.
